 We have been running DJ courses for over 24 years now, with many of Bristol's top DJ's and promoters having started out with us. Lessons are run by the club's owner Mark, who has over 31 years experience DJ'ing all over the UK and is also a qualified teacher (B.Ed hons).

​

Before owning the club Mark ran a DJ academy in over 50 secondary schools, Universities and other educational establishments around the South West, and helped develop an accredited course for DJing. 

​

Lessons take place, at the club itself, on Basement 45's state of the art equipment (CDJ 3000's / *NEW DJM A9 mixer / Technics 1200's / DJM V10 Mixer). We also offer practice sessions at the club with the same equipment for those looking to sharpen their sets .

  • Lessons Last For An Hour

  • Lessons are on a 1 to 1 basis, or small group (4 maximum)

  •  £40 1 On 1 Lessons / £20 pp group (must have your own group)

  • Book a one off lesson a series of lessons, we recommend booking one or two lessons to start with

  • Lessons are uniquely tailored to your needs. Whether you are a Beginner, someone looking to move from your conroller to club standard equipment, or an established DJ looking for some help with a specific area from Someone with over 30 years experience in the industry.

  • Learn On Our CDJ's or Vinyl Decks (cdj 3000's, Technics 1200's, DJM A9 / V10 mixer)

  • Lesson times are flexible, ideally between 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, also some weekday evenings and weekends.

  • We can cover all aspects of DJing including: beat matching / mixing / scratching / pitch control / looping /hot cues/ various styles of music / CDJ's / turntables / how to use EQ / how to get into the industry as a DJ / Promoter.

DRINKS AVAILABLE FROM THE BAR 

    

  • £20 one hour / £30 two hours / £45 three hours (evening / weekend rate)

  • Equipment provided CDJ 3000's / Technics 1200's (on request) / DJM V10 mixer / DJM A9. 4 DECK SET UP main room, 3 decks in room 2

  • 4 different room options available 

  • Use the main club soundsystem for evening hire sessions
