A long time ago in a venue far, far away... a group of DJs were fighting the rising tide of jump-up DnB. The battle was almost lost, but they had one last secret weapon from a bygone era of raving - the dark side. Looking to the past for guidance, they embraced the darkness and henceforth achieved new and unimaginable levels of power and bass, known only to a few.

DARKSIDE transports you back in time, journeying from late 1992 when the mainstream rave sound began to deviate from the uplifting pianos of happy hardcore, through the development into jungle in 1993, and then the resurgence of the dark sound in 1996 in the form of techstep.

True to the history of the dark side and it's reputation for pushing the boundaries of musical experimentation, our performers will leave no stone unturned, showcasing a mixture of classic vinyl tracks, homemade…
